We are Sanne and Bo Hamburger, founders of Italy2share, where we share our passion for Italy’s beauty through unique holiday home experiences.
Our beginning
Our love for Italy began in 1996 with an unforgettable 5-day trip to Tuscany. It inspired us to buy our first house, where we moved in in January 1997.
Family life in Italy
We first lived there on our own, and later with our three children, which strengthened our connection to Italy and its way of life.
A passion for Italian culture
While Bo cycled through the countryside, our love for Italian culture, food, and the charming old stone houses grew, and we became deeply fascinated by them.
From ruin to beauty
In 2006, we purchased a ruin, which we fully restored from A to Z. The house has also been featured in magazines such as Bo Bedre.
Sharing our home
For over 10 years, we have been renting out our house (and later houses), as we believe homes should be lived in and kept alive.
Sustainability and reuse
We focus on sustainability by using recycled materials in our renovations. This is not only good for the environment, but also perfectly suits the character of the old Italian houses.
